Siyah Inci (English title: Black Pearl) is a Turkish television series produced by Gold Production and shown by Star TV, from September 28, 2017, to February 15, 2018, in 20 episodes. Written by Basak Angigün, Alphan Dikmen, Duygu Tankas, Yekta Torun, and Gül Gürsoy, directed by Cem Karci, Erol Özlevi and Benal Tahiri with production by Faruk Turgut. It was carried out by Tolgahan Sayışman, Hande Erçel, and Berk Hakman.

Siyah Inci Synopsis
Hazal is a young and beautiful girl who lives in a small coastal town called Cesme in the Aegean region of Turkey. She has a modest life and lives happily with her mother Melek, stepsister Ebru and stepfather Halil. Hazal works as a waitress in a large hotel in this small town and wants nothing but to marry her lover Kenan. Hazal and Kenan are very much in love with each other and dream of getting married as soon as possible.
Kenan is a young man who works as a fisherman. He manages to find the black pearl at the bottom of the Aegean Sea and proves that he loves Hazal to death. He wants to spend his whole life together with his lover Hazal and tries to do his best to make her happy. Kenan asks for Hazal’s hand for marriage, but getting his parents’ approval is not easy. Hazal’s stepfather doesn’t want Hazal to marry a miserable fisherman with low living standards. He doesn’t want to give his permission for the wedding, but he can’t object anymore when Hazal Melek’s mother supports her daughter’s wedding. Eventually, Hazal and Kenan become engaged and promise that they will never leave in the future. They set a date for the wedding to start very early. Kenan and Hazal’s life turns upside down with the arrival of Vural. Vural has psychological problems and accidentally killed his wife in order not to let her go. After this tragedy, he cannot recover. Hazal totally resembles Vural’s dead wife: she is like that woman’s identical twin sister. When Vural sees Hazal, he develops an unhealthy passion for her. He does not want to lose Hazal as his wife and sets a trap in order to cancel Hazal’s marriage to Kenan.
Hazal suffers from oppression because of Vural’s sick love and finds himself in a desperate situation. She breaks up with Kenan without explaining anything, in order not to endanger him and agrees to marry Vural.

Tolgahan Sayışman (born 17 December 1981) is a Turkish actor and model. Sayışman won Manhunt International competition in 2005 in South Korea.
Hande Erçel as Hazal
Hande Erçel (born 24 November 1993) is a Turkish television actress and model. Erçel is known for her lead role in Aşk Laftan Anlamaz (2016–2017) as Hayat Uzun – Sarsılmaz, opposite Burak Deniz as Murat Sarsılmaz, first love Hande Erçel and as Selin Yılmaz – Mertoğlu in Güneşin Kızları (2015–2016). Also she played the role of Hazal in Siyah İnci on Star TV.
