Nuri Fırat Tanış (born 5 May 1975, Istanbul) is a Turkish actor and musician. He has appeared in more than thirty films since 1995. He is of Turkish Meskhetian ancestry.

Fırat Tanış Biography
Graduating from Istanbul University State Conservatory Theater Department, the artist started theater at Mehmet Beyazıd High School during high school. He worked with directors such as Başar Sabuncu, Mehmet Ulusoy, and Kemal Kocatürk between 1998-2001 when he worked at the City Theater for a while. Between 2000-2010, he appeared in the movies ” Şır Çocukları”, ” Tramway “, “White Angel”, ” Eight Days of Dilber “, ” Wow Friend-Manik”, “Tik”, “Dildo ” and ” Adem and Eve “, ” Radio-Madyo “, ” Yeditepe Istanbul “, “What Does Felek Mean”.
He starred in television productions such as ” The Devil is in the Details”, “Exile to Love”, ” Ihlamurlar Under “, ” Menekşe and Halil ” and “Grand Family”. The works of the artist, who also works in the field of music, whose lyrics and music are his own, have been performed by commentators such as Emre Altuğ, Levent Yüksel, and Gülay. He has been a columnist on the culture page of the daily soL Newspaper, founded on October 1, 2012, since December 3, 2012.
He announced that he had quit acting in serials as of June 10, 2013, and the reason for this was the 2013 Taksim Gezi Park protests on television channels which showed that he did not allocate enough broadcast hours.
