Masumlar Apartmanı (English Title: Innocents Apartment) is a Turkish television series in the genre of psychology and drama, produced by OGM Pictures and written by Deniz Madanoğlu and Rana Mamatlıoğlu. their leading roles; Ezgi Mola , Birkan Sokullu, Merve Dizdar, Melisa Şenolsun and Aslıhan Gürbüz share it. The series started to be broadcast on TRT 1 on September 15, 2020. Çağrı Vila Lostuvalı and Çiğdem Bozali sit in thedirector’s chair of the series.
The series created by Onur Güvenatam is in Istanbul. It is about the psychological state of four siblings living in the same house and the life around them. The series is adapted from the “Trash Apartment” section of Gülseren Budaıcıoğlu’s novel Madalyonunun İçi, which was published in 2004.

Masumlar Apartmanı Synopsis
Season 1
Gülben and Safiye are two siblings with obsessive behaviors. Especially Safiye is under the influence of the negative role modeling that her mother has created on her, this is the reason behind her behavior. Han is the only brother in the house where the brothers live with their father. Han’s main purpose in life is to protect his family, to which he is loyal. However, Han’s life will change after seeing İnci. He will fall in love with her and aim to be happy together. Han is a character with various behavioral disorders, just like her three siblings. While childhood traumas push her to scavenge and collect garbage, her anger management problems will become evident in her attitudes towards İnci on the axis of “possession” and sexist behaviors. and is affected by the problems in his family. Naci, who is her literature teacher from school, is the ex-lover of her older sister Safiye. Naci, who cannot forget Safiye, will settle in the hotel opposite the family apartment. Inci, who is a radio broadcaster, lives with her brother and grandfather and moves to Han’s family apartment, where she met and married after an accident. The main reason for İnci’s uneasiness is the men in her life. Inci, who hates her father, has to swallow her grandfather’s protective behavior in the face of her loyalty and loyalty to her brother and her grandfather who takes care of her. His ex-fiancee, Uygar, is among the men who cause problems in his life. For İnci, Han follows a different line between the men she has known until then, and her sudden marriage is a response to the family situations they see as a problem in their lives, both for this reason and for both of them. But Han’sMansplaining attitude and behavior differences often make İnci question whether she knows him well enough.
In the series, Han and İnci’s close friends are Esat and Esra. They are Esat Han’s childhood friends but also co-workers, and Han refers to Esat as his “only friend”. Esra, on the other hand, is İnci’s friend from the radio and they broadcast together on the radio. Flashbacks are also frequently used in the series, referring to the development of the characters’ moods and the basics of their problems.
Season 2
In the time that passed after İnci’s death, no one was in a position to cope with the new challenges of life. While Memduh and Ege are trying to support each other and the people in the apartment, Han’s closure to her old life after leaving the hospital affects everyone, especially Safiye. Now the problems at home have become insurmountable. Han’s condition, Naci’s illness take Safiye’s obsessions to a much higher level. As always, Gülben gives up her own happiness to be with her family. Hikmet, on the other hand, continues to give everyone a hard time due to his forgetfulness while experiencing the effects of his progressive illness. In the end, Neriman, who could not stand this situation, took the ropes and took a step. However, an unexpected guest coming to the apartment will change the course of business.

Birkan Sokullu as Han Derenoglu
Birkan Sokullu (born 6 October 1985) is a Turkish actor, model, and former basketball player. Sokullu’s grandparents were Bosnian immigrants. Sokullu left his basketball career after 10 years due to his leg injury.
He was born in Istanbul. He graduated from Maltepe University with a specialty in Radio-TV Programming. While studying at university, he began his modeling career. He took acting lessons from Dolunay Soysert. He also studied in the Drama and Acting Department of İstanbul Aydın University for one year. But he left. Birkan started to get noticed with his role in the TV series called Küçük Kadınlar. His first popular leading role is Demir (original role, Dan) in Küçük Sırlar, the Turkish remake of Gossip Girl.
